Thomas turns 6 this week, so he had a b-day party on Saturday at LaVallee’s USA Blackbelt Champions.
The kids practiced karate, played dodgeball, and ate pizza. What more could a kid ask for? I’ll tell you what else – Thomas got to cut the cake with a sword! Cool.
After his party we went to Beaver Lake Nature Center for an Artist’s Reception. Thomas had one of his paintings from art class on display at an exhibit sponsored by the NYS Art Teachers Association. His painting was displayed on the wall OVER MY HEAD – I had to look UP at it – so we couldn’t get a photo of him with it. We did, however, capture a shot of them sitting by a little pond:
That was Saturday. Today, the Bogarduses joined us for a bbq in the backyard. This is what happens when young boys get together – shirts come off.
